Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is an actress/model best known for appearing on television and in film. Brandt made her debut as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was on the character of Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Over the past decade, the actress has been featured in many TV shows including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is currently portraying Mazikeen as a character from Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born in Cape Town South Africa, but moved with her parents from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand in late teen years. Brandt began modeling in advertisements on television and in print. Before she became a renowned model, she worked as an employee of a salesperson in retail and a recruitment consultant for information technology. She was first seen in a featured part in 2009 on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she had her first appearance on the big screen in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She portrayed the slave girl Naevia. Her role as Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena.
